Understandable, unfortunately the delay was mostly because of coding problems and life issues I have lately. Sorry for that, hopefully there won't be next delay like that.
Four years of progress and it shows. There's so much content here. Gameplay is unique as far as H-games go and does a great job of making it feel like running a cafe. The UI is a bit overwhelming at first but it's aesthetically pleasing overall. MC and the girls have their own charms and no one's been outright annoying so far. I'm a little sad the character I initially found most attractive is my least favorite archetype, but I've found more than enough comfort in the other girls.
Some feedback:
- The hotkey layout for food/drink is a bit tough to adopt. Even with all the keys mostly memorized, 7 of each food/drink extending out to U/J means the left hand can't stay on ASDF, making hotkey use fairly frustrating.
- It'd be nice to have the important stats (cash, cleanliness, maid energy%) visible on the action menu as well as in the Backrooms menu. In the latter, money is shown but despite being able to move girls around, energy and cleanliness seem to require going back and forth between Chat and Shop respectively.
- An in-game log for both dialogue and cafe events would be awesome. There's been a few times I missed a conversation detail and couldn't go back to fully understand the situation.
Overall, I'm really glad I found this gem. Looking forward to more. Please keep up the awesome work!
Ok, so i may be stupid, but when you finish sending messeges to a client, the book says that it is unlocked in the maid's client chat menu. Where is this menu? Do I have something else to see the scene? I'm feeling like the biggest idiot...
Hey, that's okay, game still needs a tutorial that I plan to implement as one of the last things before final releases. Client chat menu is in the same place where you can chat with the maid, in the locker room at the end of the day menu.

Buddy, why not add more animation to the game during gameplay? For example, Sergil comes into glory hall and watches how the girls work. Or add a room for sex. So that the girls can serve the customers after the dance. Individual events from pictures and animations are of course good, but this is not a RenPy game, I would like more elements in the gameplay.
Hey, yup, that's something Im working on, for example when you'll use flirt or special care, it will be represented in animation during gameplay. VIP room will be also redone and have added seggs animations and a couple of more things like that.

Hey, there also a couple of more triggers you have to fullfill that are basically progressing their story. you have to see cookie's drinking event (the point and click one), have a drink night with cynthia and cookie and then see the event where cynthia is teasing you and cookie about 'something'. Hope it helps!
I have all the events open except for this one and I have reviewed all the events with Cookie and all the events in which she participated. I played for about 50 days, hoping for a random one. But the event never started.

Synth-IA is a perk that unlocks after seeing certain event from Cynthia. It is basically telling you why and what kind of person Cynthia is, so this perk becomes avaliable. Hope it helps!
Also wanna say smth about balance and money management. Maybe I'm wrong, but... Is that OK, what for lots of hours I upgraded girls, abilities and act and had only 2000, 3000 and at least 5000$ per day and thought, that I'm a great lucky if make 7k, but, science I just buy wolf ability for Amy and from next day make 15-20k??? Wtf? Isn't it imbalance? Well.. maybe usual cash should be 20~30% more, but Yandere make 2.5~3x tip? Or something like that. Because without using (abusing??) her ability you literally have no add money, but with it... you lost any reason to PLAY in maid gameplay after 5~10 days

I understand , that you don't want to make your game in visual novel (however you create a skip day stone 😅), but what about those, who wants just play "maid simulator"? Don't wanna say fk this story or smth, but.. Sometimes just want to grind and don't spend time on reading. You create a simple story and pers, but quite interesting dialogues!! So when I skip something for playing, I regret for skipped something interesting :/
Maybe.. at least you should make one more button for «chat»? For example, «spend time with» will just add some stats and show random usual meeting, but second button «new»(any name) will follow the history with selected girl (and add stats). Second button will be active if you follow the main history or smth like that

Regarding your question, the most important thing I want to make is a 'Game'. Not a visual book (VN) and not just gameplay, I want to connect gameplay and story, have visual representations of progressing in story in gameplay etc. I understand sometimes you don't care about the story (Sometimes I have it the same), but for now you don't have to worry, because we are still in development phase of the game, so things might change. But I don't think I'll be changing the way we are progressing the story (right now its based on Popularity points).

Really had a good time with this game. It's got fun premise and characters and the visuals are pretty solid. However the cafe mini game takes up a lot of your active play time and suffers from some poor UI/UX. Really would've like to continue but when the back rooms got added with a bunch of other things to worry about without really simplifying the existing systems I couldn't stick with it.
I agree with you there. That's unfortunately why i ended up dropping it too. It definitely was a fun experience up till the backrooms were added, at least for me.

Hey, sorry but no, it doesn't have skip gameplay button, it's for a reason though. I don't want to make just visual novels, I want to make engaging gameplay in both current game and my next one. So even if I'm okay with cheating by modifying the save of the game, I won't be making anything to make player skip gameplay entirely. There is a ''skip day' button that you can't overuse or bad ending appears (if you are close to overusing you just need to play one day fully to reset it) and you can't skip bosses, so that's the minimal of gameplay I really do want to keep.
This game is really great, with a rich system, high-quality storyline, and perfect original graphics that perfectly match my preferences. I hope the author can add more NTR content and Chinese language.
Hey there! On Monday I added a Mac build to the Release Post on Patreon/Subsribestar. I’ve spent some time on it, searching through documentation and reinstalling the game's engine and applying apple key’s again. I think I fixed the issues with previous versions of Mac System not wanting to start. Do notice that Engine supports only from 10.9 MacOS forward, and all previous versions are not guaranteed to work and there is nothing I can do about it. Mac ventura beeing version 13.0 should work now. Public update should be in a day or two.
Sorry to bother you, I figured out that I have the 14.5 sonoma mac version. The new update still is not compatible. Is there anything I am able to do on my side?
Hey, to be honest it should work on 14.5, as the GMS engine (the thing im working on) supports versions from 10.9 allegedly. Can you send me on discord what error exactly do you get?
Hey there. I'm also still having the same issue with the latest version of the game. The error that pops up is: "You can’t open the application “Secret_Care_Cafe” because this application is not supported on this Mac." I'm running Ventura 13.6.8 (cannot upgrade to Sonoma any further). I haven't been able to update the game version beyond v0.8.31 so it's an issue that's been present for the past few updates.
Hello, I haven't played for quite some time to allow for new things to get added and I have a question. Since the number of random events is slowly but surely starting to become quite important, would it be possible to affect how random they are in a way ? if we want to lean towards seing new ones for instance. Cause I know i have a save where I tried to play at some point but didn't see new random scenes (iirc, i might be wrong) but ones I've already seen.
Other question cause i'm just not sure : will I miss the gloryhole service up dialogue if I already levelled it up before a new one got added ? I realy liked the few one I saw and thought it'd be quite sad to miss any other. Are they replayable in the gallery ? even if i haven't seen them ?

Regarding your questions, actually random events are right now being affected and events you didn't see have higher chance to show up. If you saw all the events, then the highest chance to show up is the event the longest that wasn't played. You probably are talking about Aruto/Exhibitionism events that I didn't do that to, but they are already taken into consideration too. And if I will add new gloryhole dialogue I will make sure people who didn't see it will be able to see it by clicking the perk again (even if it's bought already).
Maybe I didnt notice because it's been quite some time haha, and some events i like more than others so I'd like to see more of them (always this damn Cynthia obsession I stg). Glad you handled the eventt this way then, maybe i was just biased.

Hi, i bought the glory hole however it doesnt't work? For the spot on "select action" or something like that i have no option, and yes i upgraded the skill of service. I think i'm doing something wrong because clients shows up, but i cant drag any maid to the room or anything. i Bought a Couch but still i cant drag them. Can someone help me?

Maybe I didnt notice because it's been quite some time haha, and some events i like more than others so I'd like to see more of them (always this damn Cynthia obsession I stg). Glad you handled the eventt this way then, maybe i was just biased.

Hi, i bought the glory hole however it doesnt't work? For the spot on "select action" or something like that i have no option, and yes i upgraded the skill of service. I think i'm doing something wrong because clients shows up, but i cant drag any maid to the room or anything. i Bought a Couch but still i cant drag them. Can someone help me?
